Approach

Remedial work is where shortcuts catch up with buildings. A failed waterproofing membrane repaired with sealant. A spalling balcony patched without addressing the cause. Painted-over concrete cancer that comes straight back through the new render. We see this on almost every remedial project we're called to.

Our approach is different. We diagnose properly before we price, repair to the actual cause rather than the symptom, and document the works so the next inspection in five years has something to compare against. This costs slightly more on day one and considerably less over the life of the building.

Concrete & structural repair

Concrete cancer rectification, spalling repair, structural crack injection and reinforcement protection. Investigated to root cause — chloride ingress, carbonation, water intrusion — and repaired accordingly.

Façade restoration & repointing

Brick and masonry restoration, render repair and refresh, repointing in lime or cement mortars depending on substrate, balcony and balustrade rectification.

Roof remediation

Membrane replacement, metal roof refurbishment, box-gutter rectification and full roof rebuilds — including over operating buildings programmed around trading hours.

Waterproofing & rectification

Failed membrane removal and replacement, balcony and wet-area waterproofing reinstatement, basement tanking and ingress investigation.

Post-incident rebuilds

Reconstruction following fire, flood, vehicle impact or storm damage. Insurance-funded works delivered to scope with proper documentation for the loss adjuster and claim file.

Whole-of-building remedial scopes for strata committees and owner-occupiers. Phased works around occupants, transparent reporting to the committee, sinking-fund-friendly programmes.

Post-incident reconstruction following fire, flood, impact or storm. We deliver to insurer scope with documentation suitable for the claim file, and coordinate with adjusters and forensic engineers as required.
